The 2nd Graders at Caddie Woodlawn completed their annual March Book Madness Tournament! 2nd Graders voted on books throughout the month of March, narrowing down to the championship matchup on Monday.
Special thanks to Mr. Nelson and Mr. Semingson who read the books in the championship match. This year’s March Book Madness Champion is “The Adventures of Beekle" written by Dan Santat! 🏀🔢Nothing but net... and numbers! The 2nd Graders in Mrs. Hestekin’s class played Basketball Addition, adding more than two numbers to make points! They used strategies like making 10 and grouping friendly numbers to make solving for their team’s total easier and more fun! 🔢🏀
