The first graders are practicing writing numbers and making number scrolls. Alyssa just completed her number scroll and wrote numbers 1 to 1000. Her scroll is so long she had to stand on a chair! Way to go Alyssa.

It was fun watching these first graders try to figure out what this " machine" is. They got to use the overhead projector for their animal posters even though someone suggested it was a popcorn machine! Sorry, not a popcorn machine!

Ms. Brown’s first graders got to become experts on a secret story. They each learned a secret story and practiced telling others about it through “Secret Story Speed Stations”. Then they went to the Kindergarten rooms and shared their stories. #DurandPanthers
