❤️🤍💙We just finished our CKLA Unit: Colonization of America. This past week we created a colony in our classroom and even traded goods with other colonies. Today, we had Mrs. Rosemeyer's kindergarten class came in and we "performed" and presented our different stations in the colony to them. ❤️🤍💙

📖Our 2nd graders proved that readers are champions! 🥇Throughout February, students participated in an Olympic-themed reading challenge, tracking their minutes and earning weekly medals for their efforts. We celebrated our top readers in each of the four classes with gold, silver, and bronze medals, but every student who participated showed true Olympic spirit. We couldn’t be more proud of their dedication, perseverance, and love of reading. Way to go, readers!🎉

Caddie Woodlawn is excited to celebrate Read Across America Week, March 2nd - March 6th! This nationwide celebration, led by the National Education Association, encourages a love of reading and reminds us that reading opens doors to imagination, learning, and opportunity.
