The DAHS esports team feeling like royalty before State competition. The team did a fantastic job during the semifinals. In order for the team to compete, they needed to be one of the best teams in the division. Despite losing to Walden III, the team ended the season 7-1, with this being their first and only loss of the season. We are extremely proud of their season and excited to see how they will do next year. Re-watch their game against Walden III using the link below.

1st Annual Youth Basketball fundraiser!
The Durand-Arkansaw School District has a position starting with the 2023-24 school year for a full-time 6th grade Middle School ELA teacher. The ideal candidate will be strong in creating classroom community, have a positive attitude when working with others, has a core belief that all students can achieve at high levels, matches their instructional practices to data obtained through Fast Bridge Assessments, and has creative ideas for cross-curricular lessons. Our middle school, grades 6-8, will be using the Amplify resources in our ELA classes beginning next year and focusing on using the Science of Reading research in our instruction. Candidates who have had prior training or experience with these curricular materials are highly preferred. As a result of their time in our ELA classrooms we strive for all of our students to become successful readers, writers, listeners, and speakers and the ideal candidate will be ready to work as an important team member to accomplish this goal. Congratulations to the Durand-Arkansaw Varsity Valorant Team on their victory against Bruce High School, officially sending the team to compete at the WIHSEA's State Competition this Saturday, June 3rd. The matches will be streamed on both the WIHSEA and Carthage College Esports Channels. We'll release when the team will be streaming online as soon as we know!

Cheer on the Durand-Arkansaw Varsity esports team as they compete in the quarterfinals tonight against Bruce High School. The winner of this game will be competing at the Semifinals and Finals at the WIHSEA State Tournament this Saturday hosted by Carthage College in Kenosha.

Yesterday, the third graders had a field trip to Crystal Cave! They had a lot of fun viewing the cave and learning all about how they are formed. A TREMENDOUS thank you to Associated Bank and Theresa Zirbel, for donating the entire amount of the gem panning experience for our students. It was such a memorable experience for all!
