🌞Last week, members of our National Honor Society took part in our annual highway clean-up along Hwy. 10 east of Durand, helping care for the stretch of roadway our chapter has adopted between Rustad Lane and Brunner Road.
We are proud of these students for giving back to the community through service and stewardship. Their willingness to volunteer their time reflects the leadership, responsibility, and commitment to service that are central to NHS.

🍕🕶️ Mr. Miller's and Mrs. Hestekin's 2nd Grade Classes want to send a huge thank you to the NTEC Junior Achievement volunteers they had this spring! Thank you Mary Bauer, Jeni Whitwam, and Sydney Hulback for spending time with the 2nd Graders and strengthening the connection between our school and community through such valuable lessons! The students had a wonderful time learning from people making a difference right here in our community.
We also want to thank NTEC and Alex's Pizza for the awesome sunglasses and pizza party; the kids absolutely loved it! 😎

Our Caddie student council showed their appreciation for our Caddie teachers and staff last week by sharing memories, writing thank you notes, and even providing healthy snacks! Students in all grades took the opportunity to give teachers a "Shoutout" on the wall usually designated for their positive behavior!💜 #DASD
