Caddie Woodlawn is excited to celebrate Read Across America Week, March 2nd - March 6th! This nationwide celebration, led by the National Education Association, encourages a love of reading and reminds us that reading opens doors to imagination, learning, and opportunity.

Dear Caddie Woodlawn Families,
Our Durand-Arkansaw High School National Honor Society students are excited to invite our elementary students in grades K-3 to participate in a special after-school opportunity called Adventure Club!
Adventure Club will be hosted at the Durand Public Library and will feature a variety of engaging, age-appropriate activities including crafts, Jeopardy-style games, and reading activities. The goal of the event is to help our youngest students build friendships and have fun during the winter months when outdoor play can be limited. Please see the linked flyer for details as well.
NHS Adventure Club Event Details
Dates: Monday, March 2 and Monday March 9
Time: 3:45–4:45 p.m.
Location: Durand Public Library. Please note: Students would be able to ride the bus from Caddie Woodlawn to the Public Library after school.
Cost: Free for Caddie students in grades K-3
This event is organized and led by NHS members Caylee Pichler, Paisley Martin, Josi Mehling, and Brielle Poeschel, with other adults present to support the event.

To register your child, please email NHS Member, Brielle Poeschel at: 27poeschelbrielle@durandsd.org. Please include your child's name, grade, and classroom teacher.
