🚵 Durand-Arkansaw is Exploring a Mountain Bike Team!
The Durand-Arkansaw School District is gathering feedback to determine interest in starting a mountain bike team for all students entering grades 6–12.
Whether you're a parent, student, grandparent, educator, local business owner, community member, or someone who simply wants to support opportunities for Durand-Arkansaw youth, we encourage you to complete our short survey.
Mountain biking is a sport that welcomes riders of all experience levels, from beginners to experienced racers. The survey will help us better understand community interest and support as we determine the next steps.

Please see the memo below from our bus transportation provider.
To ensure accurate records and a smooth start to the school year, please review the following requirements for bus transportation.
**You must complete the Transportation Request Form if any of the following apply to your family:**
* You are new to this district or an established family registering a new student.
* Your child did not ride the bus last school year.
* Your child attends Caddie Woodlawn and uses the High School shuttle bus (you must complete this form, even if your child used the shuttle last school year).
* You have moved to a new address.
* You need to update pick-up and/or drop-off locations.
* You need to update your phone number, email, or contacts.
* You need to cancel transportation services.
Please complete the form by August 12th to guarantee transportation on the first day of school.

The ideal candidate would be someone who possesses a passion for working with young athletes, encourages and expects sportsmanship at all times, has good communication skills with parents and administrators, and will support the ideals and philosophy of the Durand-Arkansaw athletic program.

Panther Cub Academy will soon open its doors!
After months of planning and construction, we're excited to welcome children and families into Panther Cub Academy---our new early learning center designed to provide high-quality early learning experiences while helping address the growing need for child care within our area.
Panther Cub Academy represents a significant investment in our youngest learners, working families, and the future vitality of the greater Durand community. We're incredibly grateful for the many individuals, families, businesses, and organizations whose support has helped make this vision a reality.
As we prepare to open, a limited number of Legacy Partnership & Naming Opportunities are available for those who wish to make a lasting investment in this important community resource. We have already been humbled by the generosity of several community partners who have committed to this effort. A number of opportunities, including classrooms, the kitchen, small group/support rooms, office spaces, and recognition on the Panther Cub Legacy Wall, are still available.
To provide additional flexibility, Legacy Partnership commitments may be fulfilled over multiple years.
