📢Exciting news!!!🎉 Due to generous donations from Bauer Built, Blues on the Chippewa, The Durand Education Foundation, and an anonymous donor, we have officially hit the fundraising goal for our Tuba Fundraiser! The band program would like to thank our donors and the entire Durand community for their support throughout our fundraiser. Your generosity is appreciated and we are deeply grateful! 🎵🎉

📚🥔Mrs. Hestekin's 2nd Grade class had a special visit from the superintendent, Mr. Nelson! He joined them for their community circle and then read The Couch Potato, leading to a wonderful discussion about how important it is to step away from screens and enjoy the world and people around us. Mr. Nelson - thank you for your time and for the meaningful conversation you led with the students! 🥔📚

Mrs. Unser’s 3rd graders got a cool surprise on Monday! 🎉 As part of their NFL ELEMENTARY unit, the students received a special gift from the Green Bay Packers! 💚💛 The class has written letters to 18 different NFL teams, and they were so excited to hear back from one of them!
A huge thank-you to the Green Bay Packers organization for sending our students such a thoughtful gift and recognizing all their hard work!

🎵🎉🎶For the final week of our Tuba Fundraiser, the band program will be having a friendly competition!

The first section to get to $500 raised for their section wins donuts on Monday provided by Mr. Smits!!!! The deadline for fundraising is Saturday at 5:00pm!

People donating can choose which section they want to donate to during the checkout process.

This encompasses 6-12! So if the percussion win, all 6-12 percussionists will get donuts! 🎵🎉🎶

As part of our NFL Elementary fun, the students have been learning teamwork, math skills, and sportsmanship through football. Getting official Panini trading cards made the experience even more exciting — the kids were thrilled to explore and trade just like real collectors! 🏈✨
