🐾 FFA members competed in the regional Career Development Event at UWRF. Riley Rucker, Connor Davidson, Jace Ridgeway, and Sam Bergeson placed second as a team in the Wildlife competition. Individual placing are as followed; Jace 2nd, Connor 8th, Riley 14th, and Sam17th out of almost 80 contestants! The Ag Tech & Mech team of Kobin Bechel, Alex Albers, Brody Bechel, and Kenny Klevgard placed first. Individual placings are as followed; Alex 1st , Kobin 2nd, Brody 5th and Kenny 6th out of almost 50 contestants! Both teams will be advancing to the state competitions later this month. 🎉

We had a very special guest visit our CWES 4th graders this week! Nick Carletta, a meteorologist from the National Weather Service (NOAA) in Chanhassen, spent the day teaching our students all about the science of weather.
Our 4th graders are now "weather-ready" after learning:
Weather 101: The basics of how our atmosphere works.
Severe Weather Safety: Crucial tips on how to stay safe during storms.
